Priscilla Fernandez, PhD

For the last 10 years I have led projects and collaborated with teams through all stages of the research process in marketing and academic settings. Clients have used insights from these projects to make evidence-based decisions about strategic planning for statewide health campaigns, targeting audience segments, reframing messages in advertising, student retention, to name a few.

I received my PhD in Experimental Social Psychology from Saint Louis University, with a training focused in applied qualitative and quantitative methods. During the course of my experience, I have moderated in-person and remote focus groups and in-depth interviews with a diverse range of audiences, in both English and Spanish. Clients have admired my poise and high energy, but also that I recognize sensitive conversations that require a softer tone. During discussions I encourage individuals with different levels of comfortability to engage in a dialogue, and expertly navigate the flow of the conversation to ensure it remains on track. These techniques are what distinguish my moderation style and what position me to assist clients in obtaining insights that are meaningful. In addition to data collection, I analyze data and culminate findings in digestible reports that can be presented to both professional and non-technical audiences. I have presented research insights to clients and stakeholders, in exclusive webinars, and at national professional conferences.
